Last friday we were invited for the opening of the pop up shop of Castello in the Haque.
Castello is founded 50 years ago in Denmark,
and is still giving each cheese an unique texture and flavour.
During the opening food artist Katja Gruijters made the City Scape;
an eatable city made out of Castello cheese.
City Scape is inspired by the painting of Piet Mondriaan, Broadway Boogie Woogie.
The different areas are blue, orange, black, yellow, white and old.
A beautiful pallet made out of all the Castello cheeses.
If you want to see more pictures of the pop up shop, check the Castello twitter page.
Luckily, we also got to taste some of the cheese.. ( with some great wines ).. Our favorites?
Castello Marquis, Danablu and black. Check the serving tips for some delicious combinations :)
You can still visit the Castello pop up shop till the 24th of December.
Perfect for some delicious cheeses during the holidays..!
